About
Royal Ambassador Camp-O-Ree is a 3-Day, multi-state camping event for all
Royal Ambassador/Challenger aged boys in grades (1-12).
Member of a Southern Baptist church, but don’t have an RA/Challenger group? No worries.
Ask us how your group can attend as our guests. Contact us at rastaff@midsouthras.org to find out how.
Our objective is to provide an exciting outdoor worship experience for boys and their leaders
while focusing on the importance of Missions.
What to Expect
RA Camp-O-Ree is a 3-day action-packed weekend full of fun, camping and worship.
RA Camp-O-Ree is a group-based event, where any Male led boys clubs (grades 1-12), such as Royal Ambassadors, AWANA, Mission Kids, etc. and affiliated with the Southern Baptist Church may attend. RA Camp-O-Ree is hosted by the Mid-South Royal Ambassador organization in cooperation with the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board and the Golden Offering of Tennessee
Some events consist of Camping (of course), outdoor campcraft competitions, awards, special group events, pinewood derby competitions, fishing, bible drills/speak-out competitions, opportunities to meet missionaries from around the world and 2 action packed worship services.
For over 50 years, RA Camp-O-Ree has ministered to over 25,000 boys and leaders through the love of Jesus Christ and His commandment for use to be Ambassadors for Christ 2 Corinthians 5:20.

All campers/groups must check in upon arrival

Early Check-In: If you have an advance group that would like to show up early to set up your campsite, you are welcome to do so. Be sure to check in at the registration office upon your arrival.
The fun begins!

Starting at 8:00 am, events run non-stop throughout the day. Boys and their leaders will have the time of their lives going on Mission Quest, Pinewood Derby Competition, Archery, BB Guns, Tomahawk throw, Campcraft challenges (no experience necessary) , Wood crafts at the "Carpenter's Workshop" and much, much more...

At 3:00 pm, we switch to Mission Focus time where groups can attend a mission fair geared specifically towards kids with interactive activities, giveaways, and opportunities to meet missionaries who have served all over the world, including live interactive chats with some that are truly in another part of the world!

Then to wrap up an action-packed day of fun, we kick off an evening of fun in our action-packed worship service with skits, great music and a powerful message for Men and Boys alike!

Don't forget your flashlight! For those who still have some energy left, you can go on our night-hike!

As we wrap up for the weekend, we include another fun filled Sunday morning worship service. You don't want to miss out on this one!
What does it cost?
What to Expect
There are different pricing options, depending on your needs. You can camp and bring your own food or you can stay in one of the many cabins available at the camp and eat buffet meals in the camp cafeteria. Each cabin includes full showers, bunk beds. Note: Bunks do not include linens so bring your own or do like I do, bring a sleeping bag. (don't forget your pillow).

Registration: $25 per person.

18 years and older will be required to undergo a background check as part of the registration process.

Friday Night Box Lunch: $7 (Friday night only for those who don't have Friday night meal plans)

Cafeteria Meals: $12 per meal

Cabins: $26 per camper per night (this price does not include newer cabins)
